விழுப்புரம் மாவட்டத்தில் கொற்றவை வழிபாடு: கருத்தரங்கம்

விழுப்புரம் மாவட்டத்தில் கொற்றவை வழிபாடு எனும் தலைப்பிலான கருத்தரங்கம் விழுப்புரம் விஆர்பி மேனிலைப் பள்ளியில் 05.07.2025  (சனிக்கிழமை) நடந்தது. நிகழ்விற்கு பள்ளியின் தாளாளர் வே‌.சோழன் தலைமை தாங்கினார்.

 

தலைமை ஆசிரியர் ஆர்.கந்தசாமி வரவேற்றார். கணினி ஆசிரியர் கே.கார்த்திக், தமிழாசிரியர் சி.சீதா, கணித ஆசிரியர் எம்.இளவரசி ஆகியோர் முன்னிலை வகித்தனர். விழுப்புரம் சிட்டி நூ.ரஃபி வாழ்த்திப் பேசினார்.

 

எழுத்தாளரும் வரலாற்று ஆய்வாளருமான கோ.செங்குட்டுவன், தாய்த் தெய்வ வழிபாடு, கொற்றவை வழிபாட்டின் தோற்றமும் தொடர்ச்சியும், கொற்றவை குறித்த இலக்கிய வரலாற்றுக் குறிப்புகள், விழுப்புரம் மாவட்டத்தில் 25க்கும் மேற்பட்ட இடங்களில் காணப்படும் தனித்தன்மை வாய்ந்த கொற்றவைச் சிற்பங்கள் குறித்து புகைப்படங்களுடன் விளக்கிப் பேசினார். மாணவிகளுடன் கலந்துரையாடலும் நடைபெற்றது.

முடிவில் உதவி தலைமை ஆசிரியர் பிரிதிவிராஜ் நன்றி கூறினார்.

Kotravai worship in Villupuram district: Conference

A seminar on the topic of Kotravai worship in Villupuram district was held at Villupuram VRP School 05.07.25 (Saturday). The event was presided over by the school's principal, V. Cholan.

Headmaster R. Kandasamy welcomed the gathering. Computer teacher K. Karthik, Tamil teacher C. Seetha, and Mathematics teacher M. Ilavarasi were present. Villupuram City Noo. Rafi delivered the Congratulated. 

Writer and historical researcher k. Senguttuvan, discusses the worship of the Mother Goddess, the origin and continuity of the Kotravai worship, literary and historical references on Kotravai, and the unique Kotravai found in more than 25 places in Villupuram district.He explained with photographs. A discussion was also held with the students. 

In the end, Assistant hea master Prithvi Raj gave the vote of thanks.
